Baljeet Aulakh

Co-Founder & Engineer

Hi — we’re Baljeet (engineer) and Ravneet (content lead), the cofounders behind Party Genius AI. We built this because spreadsheet party planning was wrecking our weekends. Fourteen years of software engineering, six products shipped, 117 curated party themes, and 25 free tools — all from a two-person team based in Cleveland, Ohio.

Bio

Baljeet Aulakh is a software engineer and the co-founder of Party Genius AI. He studied Computer Science at Cleveland State University and started his engineering career in 2012 at Rockwell Automation, building embedded systems and control software for industrial automation. Enterprise discipline from day one.

In 2013 he shipped his first iOS app to the App Store, learning Swift, mobile UX, and what it means to put working software in front of real users. In 2018 he joined Participate as a Senior Engineer, building education platforms and real-time collaboration tools and deepening his full-stack expertise. That work — taking real user problems and turning them into shipped software — became the pattern.

In 2022 Baljeet founded Blue Snow Developers LLC as a side venture while still employed full-time. The name comes from the Cleveland snow that defined his early years. The same year, Blue Snow landed its first client, Kings of Spades, on a single conversation — a full enterprise B2B raffle platform built in Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, PostgreSQL, and Stripe.

On October 1, 2025, Baljeet left corporate engineering permanently to run Blue Snow full-time. Since then he has shipped six products live: Party Genius AI, TargetVid, Fokiq, SplitGenius, Zero Square, and the Kings of Spades platform. Party Genius is the consumer flagship — a real product, run by real people, built because spreadsheet-driven party planning never produced a party either of us was proud of.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who built Party Genius AI?

We did — Baljeet Aulakh (engineering) and Ravneet Aulakh (content). We are the two cofounders of Party Genius AI and we run it as a two-person team out of Cleveland, Ohio. Every theme, tool, and party plan on the site was built or curated by us.

Is Party Genius AI a real company?

Yes. Party Genius AI is operated by Blue Snow Developers LLC, a software studio we registered in 2022. Party Genius is one of six products we have shipped. Our contact email and physical correspondence address are listed on the About and Contact pages.

How does Party Genius’s data come together?

Every recommendation is grounded in a deeply curated dataset across 117 themes — activities, menu items, decorations, shopping items, tasks, playlists, and treasure hunt clues. We hand-curate every theme, then a Mulberry32-seeded engine personalizes each party plan by age, budget, and venue.

Why is Party Genius free?

The core planner and all 25 tools are free because our distribution strategy is organic search and word of mouth. Optional paid upgrades (Party Pass $4.99 per party, Annual $29.99) unlock recap videos and saved party history. We do not run ads and we do not sell data.

Where is Party Genius based?

We are based in Cleveland, Ohio. Blue Snow Developers LLC is registered in California from the early days of the studio, and the team operates remotely. Most of the product, content, and customer support happens from Cleveland.

How can someone reach the Party Genius team?

For general questions, email hello@partygeniusai.com. For partnerships or press, reach Baljeet directly at baljeet@bluesnowdevelopers.com. We read every message and try to respond within two business days.

What’s the difference between Party Genius and Evite or Canva?

Evite is an invitation tool and Canva is a graphic-design surface. Party Genius is a full planning brain — it produces the checklist, timeline, menu, activities, shopping list, playlist, treasure hunt, and recap video for a specific celebrant in 60 seconds. We complement those tools rather than replace them.

Is Party Genius safe for my child’s information?

We collect the minimum needed to generate a party plan — celebrant first name, age, theme, party date, and optional preferences. We do not require sign-up to use the tools. Saved parties are gated behind authenticated Supabase RLS policies. We do not sell or share any user data.
