1. The Short Version

Party Genius AI offers a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund on every paid purchase. If the paid tier did not deliver what we promised — or you simply changed your mind — email hello@partygeniusai.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. No cancellation maze, no "are you sure?" survey, no dark patterns. This policy is intentionally more generous than the law requires. We would rather keep your trust than keep your money.

2. What Is Covered

Party Genius AI has two paid products, and the 30-day refund applies to both: • Party Pass — $4.99 per party, a one-time charge that unlocks premium features for a single party. • Annual Pass — $29.99 per year, which unlocks premium features across your parties for twelve months. The free tier is genuinely useful on its own and is never charged, so there is nothing to refund there. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

3. The 30-Day Window

You have 30 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a refund. We count from the charge date shown on your Stripe receipt. We chose 30 days deliberately: most parties are planned in the two to four weeks before the event, so the window is long enough to cover the full planning cycle — including the party itself — and still ask for your money back if it did not earn its keep.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email hello@partygeniusai.com from the address on your account and tell us you would like a refund. That is the whole process. To help us find your charge faster, include (if you have it): • The email on your Party Genius account • The approximate purchase date • Whether it was a Party Pass or the Annual Pass You do not need to explain why. We will confirm by reply and issue the refund to your original payment method.

5. Refund Timeline

Once you email us, here is what happens: • Within 2 business days — we issue the refund through Stripe to your original payment method. • 5–10 business days after that — your bank or card issuer posts the credit to your statement. This second step is controlled by your bank, not by us. If more than 10 business days pass after our confirmation and you still do not see the credit, reply to our email and we will chase it with Stripe on your behalf.

6. What Happens to Your Account

Refunding a purchase reverses the premium entitlement it granted: • Party Pass refund — the specific party returns to the free tier. You keep every free-tier feature and all of your saved party data; only the premium-only extras on that party are switched off. • Annual Pass refund — premium features across your account switch off at the time of the refund. Your account, your saved parties, and your data remain intact either way. A refund is not an account deletion — if you also want your data removed, see your rights in our Privacy Policy.

7. Chargebacks

Because our refund is fast and unconditional, please email us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. A chargeback costs us a bank fee on top of the refunded amount and can take weeks to resolve, whereas an email to hello@partygeniusai.com gets you the same money back within a couple of business days. We will always choose to refund you directly rather than fight a dispute.

We issue the refund to your original payment method within 2 business days of your request. Your bank or card issuer then takes a further 5–10 business days to post it, which is outside our control.

Can I get a refund on the $29.99 Annual Pass?

Yes. The same 30-day, no-questions window applies to the Annual Pass. Email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

What happens to my party plan if I get refunded?

Refunding a Party Pass returns that party to the free tier — you keep everything the free tier includes, but premium-only features on that specific party are switched off.
